Kaitlyn Thompson of Animal Tales LLC brought some animal friends to the Lincoln County Public Library in Brookhaven Thursday morning.

Among the animals with her were Billy and Bobby, the Madagascar hissing cockroaches; Tiny Tim, the African Emperor Scorpion who glows under UV light; and Penny the black-tailed prairie dog, who peeked from her crate a few times before deciding to stay out for the children to see.

Saturday, June 17 — Donuts with Daddy at 10 a.m. The Donut Palace will provide donuts to share, and children can play games with their dads in the come-and-go event until 11:30 a.m.

Tuesday, June 20 — Pokemon Club at 4 p.m.

Wednesday, June 21 — Story Time at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.; Teen Program at 4 p.m.

Thursday, June 22 — Fire Engine No. 4 at 10 a.m.

Tuesday, June 27 — Barbie Society at 4 p.m.
