BROOKHAVEN — National Weather Service in Jackson is forecasting the potential for severe storms tonight. These storms could roll through between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

The northern half of Lincoln County is under marginal risk. Isolated storms are possible, wind gusts could be damaging, hail could come and tornadoes are possible. The chance of rain is 70 percent.

Monday morning will have a 30 percent chance of rain. Wind gusts in the morning could hit 30 mph.
