BROOKHAVEN — Sparklight published a brief statement online Monday morning to confirm an outage impacting customers in Southwest Mississippi.
A reader commented on The Daily Leader’s Facebook page and said their Sparklight has been out since 10:30 a.m.
“We are aware of an outage impacting internet, phone and video services to a portion of customers in Brookhaven, Natchez and McComb areas. Technicians are working diligently to get service restored as quickly as possible,” the statement read.
The Crouton reported its systems were down and could not take card payment at the moment due to the outage. The restaurant in downtown Brookhaven on Railroad Avenue reported it was taking cash only so it is possible other businesses in town are facing the same challenge.
Sparklight said it apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks customers for their patience.
