What a time for us to live

What a time for us to recover the lost power of prayer for and with our neighbors and our nation. What a time for us to fill the atmosphere of America and the world with prayer and praise to Almighty God, instead of filling it with pornography and violence!
What a time to proclaim liberty to the captives, grace to the lost, sight to the blind. What a time to recover the lost vision of ‘one nation under God’ and of the motto ‘in God we trust.’ As a nation we have asked God to vacate His world and leave us to our own desires. We have ignored the Golden Rule and made Sunday a game day. We have legalized (or given our approval} to every vice we can think of. We have spent much of the last half century trying to push God out of our educational system. Education alone does not make us honest or save us from sins of the flesh. Technology offers no saving graces.
Our prisons are full of people who could be blessed citizens of this nation and their families. We have a spiritual vacuum produced by a secular world teaching us that our bodies are our own to play with like a toy, instead of a temple of the Holy Spirit where God can live (I Corinthians 6:19, 20).
What a time to be alive and see the real consequences of our secular humanism; and to claim again the revelations of a mighty God who receives our repentant prayers and gives us new life in Christ the Lord!
This is our only hope!!! (Psalm 24:1; II Chronicles 7:14)
