BROOKHAVEN — The rain held off for Sabrina Wolff and her husband Chris to cut the ribbon outside their real estate office Friday morning. Mason and Magnolia Real Estate, a company based in Hattiesburg, celebrated its grand opening of their Brookhaven Branch.
Sabrina is the managing broker for the Brookhaven branch, and Chris will be a broker. She said the best thing about being a branch for Mason and Magnolia is they are free to go out and do real estate work.
Their office at 324 Brookhaven Street has been open for a week, but Friday was the big day for the company. People gathered outside while Team Title cooked food and cupcakes and sat inside the office under a TV with a video of the Wolffs talking about their business.
“It is amazing. We are so blessed and happy to finally be open,” Chris said. “We are born and raised here in Brookhaven, and we have lived here our whole lives.”
Sabrina has worked in real estate for the past five years. She got her start at Abide Realty in Brookhaven. Someone from Abide had approached her and told her she would be good at the job, and they would pay for her school to become a broker.
They got the opportunity to open a Brookhaven branch for Mason and Magnolia thanks to brokers Kent Jordan and Brittany Lanehart for partnering with them. God played a role in making it happen, she said.
“It was a spirit lead thing. God laid it on our hearts to be able to open a brokerage,” she said.
Sabrina said they are partnering with Team Title and Claire Crow at Angel Oak Home Loans.
