A man is in stable condition after being shot twice in Brookhaven Saturday.

Around midday, an adult male suffered a gunshot wound to the back and one to the buttocks at South Second and Center streets, according to Det. Capt. Clint Earls.

After he walked to a family member’s residence, he was transported by private vehicle to King’s Daughters Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
