Today is one of the final three days to register children for the Dr. A. L. Lott Youth Sports League (ages 3-17). Sign-up is every Wednesday 4:30-7 p.m. at The Bi-Centennial Building, 200 Main St., and every Saturday 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Sportsplex through March 16. Thursday, the Exchange Club Spring Fling begins. It’s 5:30-8 p.m. nightly through Saturday. The $15 armband includes gate fee and rides.

7:30 a.m. litter cleanup. Volunteers will meet at A.L. Lott Sportsplex to pick up litter in the community. Bags and grabbers will be provided.

The Brookhaven Board of Aldermen will meet in the city boardroom in the Lincoln County/Brookhaven Government Complex at 6:30 p.m.
