Monticello teen to compete in 2021 Jr. Miss Magnolia State Pageant

Addison Carver of Monticello will be a contestant in the statewide Jr. Miss Magnolia State Pageant finals at the Vicksburg Auditorium in Vicksburg, on Nov. 20-21.

Addison is the daughter of Dwayne and Kristi Williamson Carney of Monticello and the late Chuck Carver.

Ladies throughout Mississippi will compete in fashion runway, interview, casual wear, and evening gown competitions. The state winners will each receive a $1,000 cash scholarship and a cruise to Alaska and serve as the state winner making appearances throughout Mississippi throughout her year of service. Over $10,000 in scholarship money and prizes will be made available through the state pageant.

Reining title holders are Larissa Gaines, Jr. Miss Magnolia State 2021; Ella Grace Williams, Miss Teen Magnolia State 2021; Emily Cockrell, Miss Magnolia State 2021; and Marisa Farr, Mrs. Magnolia State 2021.

The preliminary pageant competition will take place on Saturday, Nov. 20, at 4 p.m, and the pageant finals with the semi-finalists being named and the new winner being crowned will take place Sunday, Nov. 21, at 9 a.m. This year, The Miss Magnolia State Pageant has partnered with Pageant Planet for their online People’s Choice Award.
