The Freemasons of Bogue Chitto Lodge #260 donated 24 bags of “goodies” to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office recently. The bags — 14 for girls and 10 for boys — contain coloring books, crayons, chalk, puzzle, small toys, silly putty, slime, toy cars, socks, toothpaste, toothbrush and a New Testament Bible. They were presented for Deputy Kaylene Lowe to distribute to young kids she encounters while on shift. Bogue Chitto Lodge meets at 6:30 p.m. every first Monday. From left, Junior Warden Roger Brumfield, Senior Warden Wayne Williamson, Worshipful Master Travis Greer, Sheriff Steve Rushing, Chief Deputy Johnny Hall Jr. and Lowe.
