Families United Training Center in Brookhaven has received a $2,500 Community Grant from the Walmart Community Grants Team and Facility 816. The grant will be used for education and training.

FUTC’s mission is to transform the lives of disadvantaged youth and families by empowering them with skills and abilities necessary for success.

“We desire to help these families succeed so that our community thrives,” said FUTC founder and director Falana McDaniel. “We help disadvantaged people help themselves. We seek to restore the quality of life for people affected by conflict by eliminating barriers to success through innovative training, support and community-driven aid.”
