Nena Smith’s School of Dance recently announced the winners of Who’s Who Awards and Hall of Fame Awards.
More than 50 girls in seventh-12th grades were eligible to compete for the Who’s Who Awards. Winners were: Laney Jones, Best Dressed to Dance; Erin Buckley, Most Godly Example; Julianna Crosby, Dancer of the Year; Shelby Barnett, Miss Spirit of Dance; Isabella Little, Best Showmanship; Kayla Barfield, Best Workshop Worker; Jordan Slonaker, Most Talented; Olivia Clark, Most Improved; KaDazia Brown, Most Dependable; Reagan Newman, Miss Hustle; and Hannah McKee, Miss Speedy.
Hall of Fame Award winners were selected based on attitude, attendance, talent, cooperation with teachers and dance classmates, and participation in extra dance activities. Winners were Linda Grace Dunn, Lexi Brown, Hannah Derouen, Melissa Bradford, Maggie Runnels, Lexie Freeman, Isabel Henderson, Mary Beth Coates, Madeline Smith and Olivia Rushing.
