No injuries were sustained when a log truck overturned on Belt Line Drive Monday morning, colliding with another vehicle.

A log truck was traveling east on Belt Line Drive around 9 a.m. when it overturned as it entered the curve at the entrance to Hansel King Sports Complex, spilling its load onto the roadway and onto an oncoming pickup truck.

Neither driver was injured.

City workers pushed the logs out of the roadway and sanded the road so it would not be slick, Emergency Management Director Clifford Galey said.

No further information was available, pending completion of accident reports, according to the Brookhaven Police Department.
