Temperatures will be a few degrees warmer today in the Brookhaven area, and winds will be lighter. High clouds will continue to pass over the region, according to the National Weather Service.

Cloud cover will increase from the west overnight, and winds from the south will keep temperatures above freezing across the forecast area.

Warmer temperatures and the chance for showers will return on Saturday. Breezy winds from the south are also expected.
