The Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a two-vehicle accident Wednesday at 7:33 a.m. on Hwy. 583 South at Bogue Chitto Road. They responded to a two-vehicle accident without injuries Thursday at 9:46 a.m. on Hwy. 84 East at the Lincoln/Lawrence county line. They responded to a single-vehicle accident without injuries Thursday at 2:36 p.m. on Hwy. 84 East at Fair River Drive. They responded to a two-vehicle accident Thursday at 4:08 p.m. on Hwy. 550 West at California Road.

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 50 calls Tuesday-Thursday. 10 were transfers, with four in the city, five to Jackson and one to Covington; 39 emergency calls; 34 medical, with 20 in the city and 14 in the county; two traumas in the county and two MVAs, with one in the city and one in the county.
