A new urgent care clinic should be open for business by the end of January.
Construction on the Fast Pace Urgent Care Clinic, located on Brookway Boulevard on the site of the former Hudgey’s Family Restaurant, is set to be completed by Tuesday, according to Brookhaven Building Inspector David Fearn.
The Mill Creek subdivision on South First Street is also coming along nicely, Fearn said.
The 15-acre tract holds just over four dozen single-family homes, being built by Winters Construction, and is expected to be completed on schedule in the spring, with applications for home ownership opening up April 1.
“Several of the homes are complete except for appliances, which are on order,” Fearn said, “and inside painting.”
The homes are approximately 1,500 square feet, 3-bedroom, 2-bath homes, some with two-car garages.
