Good morning Brookhaven! Cold fronts coming just before Thanksgiving holiday

With afternoon temps reaching close to 80, you might not be thinking Christmas this morning. Two cold fronts promise slightly cooler temperatures and a little rain before Thanksgiving begins.
While the temperature might not evoke the holiday spirit, the Brookhaven Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce wants to make sure there are gifts under the tree this holiday for some area girls and boys. Stop by the Chamber of Commerce and adopt an angel from their Junior Auxiliary Angel Tree.
Unseasonably warm weather will settle in the area for a few days with highs possibly reaching up into the high 70s today. Saturday will be sunny and mild with highs in the mid 70s. Clouds will increase on Sunday ahead of a weak cold front move through the area Sunday night. Expect light showers Sunday night, but that is about it.

Temperatures will cool back into the mid 60s for Monday with partly cloudy skies. A bigger cold front may finally bring more substantial rainfall on Tuesday and Weednesday. Any rain should clear out by Thanksgiving Day. Then the holiday season begins!
