Robbie and Jane Statham announce the engagement and approaching wedding of their daughter Heather Statham, of Madison, to Alex Boyd, of Brandon.

He is the son of Mike and Joan Boyd.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Earl and Daisy Lambert of Brookhaven, and Bobbie Jean Statham and the late Buck Statham of McComb.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Corbett and Joyce Boyd of Hattiesburg, and Grace Benton and the late Rev. Howard Benton of Pearl.

Miss Statham is a 2005 graduate of Brookhaven High School, a 2009 graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor of science degree in educational psychology, and a 2014 graduate of Mississippi College, with a master of science degree in mental health counseling. She is employed as a mental health therapist.

Mr. Boyd is a 2005 graduate of Brandon High School, a 2009 graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy and a 2010 graduate of MSU with a master’s degree in taxation. He is employed as a certified public accountant.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, June 13, 2020, at First Baptist Church Brookhaven.
