Services for Mr. Randy Carr of Monticello, Mississippi, are 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019 at Monticello Baptist Church with interment at New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is from 5 until 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, at Monticello Baptist Church and he will lie in state from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Riverwood Family is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Randy Carr, 71, passed away at his home on Sept. 5, 2019.

He was born on Nov. 10, 1947, to the late, S. Bill Carr and Dorothy Hyde Carr.

After three decades of dedication, he retired as an officer and supervisor for the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.

Mr. Carr was a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College and the Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Academy. He was a member of the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Association and the Tri-County Cruisers Car Club. He loved hunting, fishing and antique and classic cars.

Preceding him in death were his parents; grandparents; and sister Carolyn Carr Neal.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patsy Hutcherson Carr; son, Mark Carr and wife, Lianne; and daughter, Cindy Carr Williamson and husband, Brian. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Ashley Williamson, Taite Williamson, Leanne Carr, Matt Carr and Jones Carr; two nephews, Brian Neal of Laurel, Mississippi, and David Neal of Monticello, Mississippi; brother-in-law, Tommy Neal of Monticello; and numerous aunts, cousins, and close friends.
