Marshall and Vicki Moak, the parents of fallen Brookhaven police officer Zach Moak, received a memorial plaque from Brookhaven Mayor Joe Cox engraved with the text of a resolution the board of aldermen passed in his honor on Oct. 2.
The board presented a nearly-identical plaque to Lisa and Darrell White, the sister and father of BPD officer James White, who was killed in the line of duty alongside Moak. Pictured are, from left: Marshall Moak, Mayor Joe Cox and Vicki Moak.
