Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to two illegal burnings without injuries Friday on Industrial Park Road, at 12:28 p.m and 5:02 p.m.. They also responded to a false alarm due to power failure on 6:28 p.m. Sunday at Mississippi School of the Arts. No injuries were reported.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a single vehicle accident with injuries at Saturday on I-55 southbound near mile-marker 28. They responded to an accident involving two vehicles at Sunday on I-55 northbound near mile-marker 32. No injuries were reported.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 54 calls Friday-Sunday. 17 were transfers, with 14 to Jackson, two to Southwest and one in the city. There were 37 emergency calls; 27 medical, with 14 in the city and 13 in the county; five traumas, with three in the city and two in the county; five MVAs, with five in the county.
