Eight-year-old Rivers Jordan (left) and his father, Quinn, show off Rivers’ first-ever buck, a 219-pound behemoth with eight points the boy smoked with his 7mm-08 from around 100 yards away. Father and son were hunting on family land in Dentville when a procession of does and bucks started walking into their 100-acre plot on Thursday evening, with the behemoth bringing up the rear. The deer took his wound and ran off in the thick woods, but Jordan called in the dogs and they sniffed him out in no time.
