She loves to hunt and watch football.
A nursing student at Copiah-Lincoln Community College, Sarah Salley finds her passion in helping others.
“I’ve always just had this drive to help those in need,” Salley said. “My parents have a non-profit organization called “Show Mercy International” and it’s really opened my eyes as far wanting to help others.”
Salley has lived in Tennessee, Oregon and Africa throughout her life. She moved to Mississippi her senior year in high school.
She graduated from Copiah Academy in 2015.
After high school, she briefly worked at Porches Restaurant in Wesson, while attending classes as a freshman at Co-Lin.
At Co-Lin she is a member of Phi Theta Kappa. On Sundays she attends church at Pinelake in Brandon.
When she has time to herself, she enjoys playing with her dog Max and hunting.
“I also enjoy snap chatting and traveling,” Salley said.
Salley said she can’t live without her family.
“I’m a very family-oriented person. They make me happy,” she said.
With the holidays approaching, Salley said she plans to enjoy spending time with her friends and family, and celebrating the reason for the season.
