They want to be Lincoln County’s stop for vinyl

Joanna Biggs started her own business because she couldn’t find any vinyl in Lincoln County.
On Friday, The Vinyl Stop at the Clothes Line celebrated its grand opening.
Located on Denton Trail off of Hwy. 84, the store offers customers several options.
“This is a family business,” Biggs said. “People that have small businesses come from all over and they will buy vinyl from us to help them with their T-shirt designs or whatever it is they are working on.”
Biggs said they thought of the business idea when she was having a hard time finding vinyl in the area.
“We realized that there was a need for it here and we decided that we were going to be a supplier of vinyl,” said Biggs. “I want to provide vinyl and affordable clothing that people can come in and buy.”
The store offers several kinds of vinyl — regular, glittery colors and even sticky that can be used on coffee cups.
They also sell candles, soaps, bath bombs and mugs.
The store was originally just The Vinyl Stop, but recently added the Clothes Line when they bought it from the owner.
Biggs said they didn’t want to change their name because customers knew them as The Vinyl Stop and instead of having two separate businesses they just combined the two names.
“Our customers have become our friends. Customer service is our main priority,” said Biggs. “I use this as a ministry to talk to people about different things, the Lord mostly.”
The Vinyl Stop also provides embroidery and screen-printing services.
Store hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
