The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to an 18-wheeler leaking fuel at 8:38 p.m. Wednesday on exit 40. No injuries were reported.
Monticello reports
The Monticello Police Department reported no activity Wednesday.
The Monticello Fire Department reported no activity Wednesday.
The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity Wednesday.
Copiah County reports
The Wesson Police Department reports Wednesday were as follows:
• One possession of marijuana
• One possession of drug paraphernalia
• One loud music
• One person taking a vehicle without permission
The Copiah County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity Wednesday.
The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department reported no activity Wednesday.
Highway Patrol report
Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M reported no activity Wednesday.
KDMC Ambulance report
King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 18 calls Wednesday. Six were transfers, with four to Jackson, one to Pike County and one in the county. There were 12 emergency calls; eight medical, with four in the city and four in the county; three motor vehicle accidents in the city; and one cardiac in the city.
