No plans to open storm shelter

Lincoln County Emergency Management Director Clifford Galey said there are currently no plans to open the Brookhaven Community Storm Shelter today.
The National Weather Service is predicting severe weather this evening through early Wednesday. The main threat is strong tornadoes, damaging wind and quarter-sized hail, according to NWS.
Copiah County officials are opening the Safe Room on Epps Lane off I-55 in Gallman, according to the Copiah County Courier.
