James Andrew “Jimmy” Benge

Funeral services for James Andrew “Jimmy” Benge, of Brookhaven, will be Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, at 10: a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial at Mission Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be today, Sept. 20, 2016, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Benge, 58, died Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, at his residence. He was born May 21, 1958, in Bossier City, Louisiana, to James Jesse Benge and Edna Loyce Haynes Benge.

He was a field designer for the telephone company.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors are his wife, Penny Benge; mother, Edna Loyce Benge; sons, Jeremy Benge, of Hattiesburg, Dustin Benge, of Madison, and stepson, David Phillips, of Brookhaven; daughters, Meagan Gallman, of Crystal Springs, and Jaime Benge, of Oxford; brother, Bill Benge, of Hattiesburg, and sisters, Kathie Chute, of Riverside, California, Rhonda Smith, of Brookhaven, and Pat Benge, of Gulfport; and seven grandchildren, Ryleigh Benge, Hannah and Holly Benge, Alleigh and Delilah Gallman and Trinity and Kailey Stinson.
