Mrs. Jeanette Haag, 88, died June 17, 2016, at her residence.

She was born on June 30, 1927, to Rufus Watson Noble and Josie Oliver Noble.

Jeanette Haag loved the Lord. She loved knowing Him and sharing Him with others. She cherished her family and ministered to all so unselfishly. She was a true southern lady of many talents, a great tennis player, a gifted hostess and an artistic floral designer who loved a good hand of bridge. Hagg worked side by side with her husband Saul William “Bill” Haag in their family’s business, Haag’s Flower Shop, for 35 years. She was a great cook and a wonderful homemaker, who also made time for various clubs and organizations over the years. Her favorite role must have been being “Gandy” to her grandchildren, who will miss her terribly, but rejoice in knowing she is whole again in the presence of Jesus.

Preceding her in death were her husband; parents; eight sisters, two brothers and son-in-law, Mike Proffitt.

Survivors are her son, George William “Bill” Haag and wife, Nancy; daughter, Harriet Proffitt; four grandchildren, Molly Proffitt Tremonte and husband Ben, Sally Proffitt, Tracie Haag Johnston and husband Daniel, Hayley Haag Moak and husband Colbey; three great-grandchildren, Michael Nicholas Tremonte, William Lane Moak and expecting Harper Noble Johnston.
