Foundaton Executive Director of the Foundation D.J. Preiss had nothing but praise for the successful event.
“I want to sincerely thank all our participants for their support for our tournament,” Preiss said. “For 23 years, we have been able to count on our corporate and community sponsors to make this event such a success.”
The foundation reached its goal and will put the funds raised towards the support of the college and its programs.
Preiss thanked the event’s volunteers for helping to create an atmosphere of fun and fellowship for participants during the tournament.
“Ronny Ross and his staff always do a phenomenal job providing such an outstanding venue for our annual tournament, and we are fortunate to have the caliber of facilities like Wolf Hollow as a resource,” he said.
Twenty-seven teams participated in the event this year to help raise funds for the Copiah-Lincoln Foundation. The Co-Lin Foundation provides over $200,000 in scholarships to over 150 students and faculty.
