Ole Brook Track and Field brings home medals

PEARL – The Brookhaven Panthers and Lady Panthers finished strong in Saturday’s 1A/3A/5A state championship at Pearl High School.

The Panthers finished in seventh place overall with a score of 31. Adrian Lockwood took home bronze in the 1600 with a time of 4:51.85 and 3200-meter run with a time of 10:35.13.

Antonio Dillon finished fourth in the 1600-meter run with a time of 4:53.97.

Montero Barton finished fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 44-01.00

In the Lady Panthers finished in eight place overall with a score 40. Miyah Miller captured silver in the 1600-meter run with a speed of 5:41.34.

Mya Washington took home gold in the discuss event with a toss of 98-09.

The Lady Panthers captured gold in the 4×800 relay event and placed fourth in the 4×100 and 4×200 relays. Member of the 4×800 relay team were Miyah Miller, Asia Byrd, Ayanna McNairy and Arnancy Arnold.
