Mr. and Mrs. Ray Carlock, of Meadville, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Jana Quin Carlock to Derick Scott Brumfield.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Brumfield, of Stampley.

She is the granddaughter of Joyce Carlock Frith, the late Gus Frith, of Pleasant Valley, the late Hiram Carlock Jr., of Bude, and the late Frank and Iva Pearl Calcote of McCall Creek.

He is the grandson of Patricia Beard, the late Kenneth Beard, of Stampley, Joan Brumfield, of Roxie, and Glenn Brumfield, of Brookhaven.

The bride-elect is a 2014 graduate of Franklin County High School. She is currently enrolled at the University of Southern Mississippi where she is pursuing a degree in speech pathology.

The prospective groom is a 2014 graduate of Franklin County High School. He is currently enrolled in the automation and controls technology program at Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m., Friday, April 22, 2016, at The Hideaway at Reed’s Estate. A reception will immediately follow.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and the reception.
