Franklin Co. beats Enterprise

The Franklin County Bulldogs scored 15 runs in the third and fourth innings to collect a 16-1 win over the Enterprise Yellow Jackets.
FCHS will play at Wesson tonight at 6:30 for the first game of the Region 7-3A Championship. The second game will be in Bude on Friday at 7.
Enterprise will host Prentiss for a division test today. Junior varsity action begins at 4:30 p.m., followed by the varsity game at 6:30 p.m.
The Yellow Jackets and Bulldogs fought in a defensive battle – both plated a run apiece in the second frame.
In the top of the third and fourth frames, the Bulldogs erupted for 15 runs on seven hits, compiled with three Enterprise errors to put the game out of reach.
Dalivan Hunt collected the win for the Dawgs on the mound, striking out two and walking two.
For Enterprise, Tanner Waldrop absorbed the loss on the hill.
Antonio Christmas and Jacob McDaniel each plated two hits for four RBIs, while Garrett Smith and Will Moffett added two hits for two RBIs.
Tanner Waldrop, Cade Cangemi and Zach Hodges paced the Jackets with a single each.
The Bulldogs have won 10 of their last 11, and are 13-4 overall.
“We did not come ready to play and Franklin County did,” said Enterprise coach Cass Brister. “I tip my hat to them. They played well and we did not.”
