The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department reported a house fire on East Railroad Street Monday. Firefighters arrived at approximately 1:38 a.m. and cleared the scene around 6:02 a.m.

Ambulance Report
King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service had 15 calls Monday; seven were transfers, with one to the city, one to Southwest and five to Jackson. There were eight emergency calls, with four medical, three in the city and one in the county. There were two traumas one in the city and one in the county. There were two motor vehicle accidents in the city.
