Bogue Chitto begins division action

Bogue Chitto (0-4), coached by Gareth Sartin, continues to search for its first win of the season after watching another record come to an end last Friday night after falling to the West Lincoln Bears 37-6.
This week, the Bobcats are looking to put an end to their current 13-game losing streak as they return home, after a three-game road tour, to begin Region 4-1A action against the Stringer Red Devils.
The Red Devils (1-3), coached by John Brown, captured their first win of the season last Friday with a 28-12 Region 4-1A victory over the Salem Wildcats.
BC’s top offensive performer last week was quarterback Connor Douglas, who completed 11-of-21 passes for 65 yards. Kobe Roberts led Bogue Chitto in receiving and rushing with five receptions for 43 yards and five carries for 91 yards.
Defensively, Kobe Roberts led the Bobcats with 12 tackles followed by Terrance Morgan with five stops.
Last year, Stringer thumped the Bobcats 34-7.
My prediction: Stringer will escape with a 28-20 win.
