In other games of local interest, Hazlehurst visits Crystal Springs, Copiah Academy hosts Oak Forest Academy, North Pike travels to Wilkinson County, and Parklane Academy entertains Madison-Ridgeland Academy.

This week, the Bears will battle the Bogue Chitto Bobcats for the first time since joining the Class 2A ranks.

Bogue Chitto (0-3), coached by Gareth Sartin, is still searching for its first win of the season after falling to the Wesson Cobras 44-8 last Friday at Stone Stadium.
The Bobcats, currently on a 12-game losing streak, are hoping to climb into the win column and spoil West Lincoln’s homecoming festivities.
BC’s top offensive performer last week was quarterback Connor Douglas, who completed 12-of-22 passes for 117 yards. Dee Dillon led all receivers with six catches for 49 yards.
Defensively, Kolby Roberts powered the Bobcats’ defense with nine tackles. Connor Douglas contributed eight stops. Sherman Jackson had seven tackles.
