Hwy. 84 in Lawrence County was closed for several hours Tuesday after an 18-wheeler hauling gasoline rolled over, according to the state Highway Patrol.

Both eastbound and westbound lanes were closedwhile fluid from the spill was cleaned.

No injuries were reported.

Man killed in single-car crash in Copiah County

 

A Chicago, Ill., man died Tuesday when his Ford Explorer left I-55 in Copiah County and rolled over, according to the Highway Patrol.

The single-car accident happened at about 7:30 Tuesday morning.
