Reader praises BPD officers for their help

I would like for Chief Bell and all Brookhavenites to know and meet officers George Lambright and Luther Wilson, great telephone helpers at the station. I’ve grown fond of other officers. Kyle Brady, whose mother, Debra, is a sweetheart — the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. The other officers are Eric Malone and Rob Smith. These officers have had the opportunity of getting into my home (all locked up) and getting me off of my bedroom floor.
First of all, one of them comes to my bedroom window and asks “Mrs. Hightower, have you been dancing again?” as he laughs.
Once they are in, they lift me onto my bed or recliner, making sure, all is well with me. When leaving one will say, “My name is Pap Henderson” and laughes. They are great officers and well-trained. I’m close to David Johnson, one of myspecial persons. He is focused and driven. He will get the job done.
I wish blessings for all of you and may God bless us all helping Chief Bell and others to solve the murders we’ve had.
With best regards,
Josie Hightower
