During the kick-off day of the Summer Reading Program children were treated to a visit from the Brookhaven Fire Department on Monday. Firefighter Marlon Dixon, far left, firefighter Ray White, Lieutenant Nick Gamble and Captain Eric Smith, talk to children about general fire safety, ways to alert firefighters if you are trapped in your room and how to plan for a fire.
