The Loyd Star Hornets, West Lincoln Bears and Enterprise Jackets battled in the Class 2A Regional Individual Tennis Tournament Saturday at the Brookhaven Country Club.

The individual Tournament was originally schedule to play yesterday, but due to rain in the forecast, the coaches elected to have the tournament last Saturday.

In a fun fill day of tennis, Loyd Star finished with five event members advancing to State. West Lincoln has three event members advancing to State and Enterprise will have two event members in the state individual tournament.

These proud individuals advance to the State Individual Tournament. which will be held at Bridges Tennis Center on May 11-13.

Here is the Region 7-2A individual tournament results that determine who moved on to state:

Boys Singles: 

Semifinal:  Connor Crosby (LS) d. Tyler Leggett (ENT) 6-2, 6-1.

Girls Singles:
