Funeral Services for Jerry Carl Lupo of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services with burial in New Sight Baptist Church Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, from 5 until 7:30 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Services.

Mr. Lupo, 80, died Jan. 26, 2015, at Haven Hall Nursing Center. He was born on June 30, 1934, to Lonnie Johnson Lupo and Gena Ashley Lupo.

He was a member of New Sight Baptist Church and was retired from Jacobson Lawnmower. He was a devoted husband, daddy and pawpaw with a generous giving heart. He was our “fix it man” and always there for us.

Preceding him in death were his parents; sisters, Joyce Walker and Sybil Wallace; and son-in-law, Hal Irwin.

Survivors are his wife of 59 years, Jeanette Sisco Lupo; daughters, Cathy Sue Lupo Wooten and husband, Johnnie, Rhonda Lynette Lupo Irwin and Misti Dawn Lupo Thornhill; six grandchildren, Amy Michelle Wooten Black and husband, Bubby, Matthew Jared Wooten, Emily Nicole Irwin, Bradley Devin Irwin, Benjamin Logan Thornhill and Savana Leann Thornhill; four great-grandchildren, Robby Black, Wesley Black, Jared Lynn Wooten and Gracie Renee Wooten; and numerous nieces and nephews.
