Funeral Services for Demetrius Demond Wilson of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at Alexander Jr. High School with burial in New Hope Church Cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, from 1 until 6 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Wilson, 26, died Dec. 24, 2014, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was born on April 2, 1988, in McComb to Demetrius Wilson and Mary Trunner.

He was a 2007 graduate of Brookhaven High School. He was a member of St. James M.B. Church in Brookhaven.

Preceding him in death were his maternal grandfather, Cornelius Trunner; paternal grandmother, Ethel Jean Wilson; aunt, Regina Trunner; uncle, Cornelius S. Trunner; one niece; and one nephew.

Survivors are his parents, Mary Trunner and Demetrius (Stephanie) Wilson of Brookhaven; boys, Demetrius D. Wilson Jr. and Draeden Byrd; sisters, Candace C. Turner, Ravan Nicole Wilson, Princess Anderson, all of Brookhaven; grandmother, Doretha Trunner of Brookhaven; grandfather, Willie Burt Wilson of Brookhaven; aunts, Tonya (Dennis) Plunkett of Jackson, Shalesia (Kelvin) Watson, Zina Wilson, Phyllis (Verry) Lewis, all of Brookhaven; uncles, John (Champagne) Trunner, Anthony (Vickie) Wilson, Willie Burt Wilson Jr. (Rose), all of Brookhaven; special friend, Essence Thomas of Brookhaven; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
