The Lincoln County American All-Stars managed to stay alive in their hunt for a district championship as the knocked off the Natchez All-Stars 16-3 Monday afternoon in the Dixie Youth 12-year-old District Tournament at Keystone Park.

In other tournament action, the Pine Hill All-Stars eliminated the Copiah All-Stars. In the late game, the McComb All-Stars defeated the Franklin County All-Stars.

The Lincoln Americans will battle Franklin County in an elimination contest starting at 6 p.m. McComb takes on Pine Hill in the nightcap at 8 p.m.

In last Saturday’s results, McComb edged Lincoln County 14-13, Copiah surpassed Walthall 8-6, and Franklin County crushed Natchez 8-1.
