James L. “Quickdraw” Rushing, a Bogue Chitto native, scored a hole-in-one on a 93-yards par course at the Wolf Hollow Golf Club Wednesday, May 14.

This was his ninth hole-in-one in 40 years of playing.

Smith used a Gap Wedge to accomplish the rare feat, which was witnessed by Phillip Wallace, Sid Smith, Gordon West and Buddy Donahoe.
