A celebration of life will be held for Christopher Dwayne Boyd at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Antioch Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the church.

Christopher Dwayne Boyd, 49, of Brookhaven, passed away May 6, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Brookhaven, on July 26, 1975, to William Lavon Boyd and Tywana Nell Nettles Boyd.

Christopher enjoyed fishing, riding around with his Dad, spending time on social media, making homemade cane syrup, and hanging out with his buddies. He will be missed by all who loved him.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Tywana Boyd; grandparents, Victor and Jessie Nettles, and LV and Idell Boyd; and sister, Trista Boyd.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 26 years, Jennifer Anita Boyd; father, William Lavon Boyd; son, William Dwayne Boyd; brother, Joshua Boyd (Ashley); and two nieces, Ryleigh Smith and Kimberly Smith. He is also survived by friends, Don “Crash” Warren and Melinda McCullough; cousin, Stacy McNeese; his dog, Skeeter; and a host of many friends and family.
