A celebration of life will be held for Mr. Robert Lee Hoggatt Sr., at 1:00 pm on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Riverwood Family with a burial at Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 11:00 until the time of the service.

Robert Lee Hoggatt Sr., 76, of Brookhaven, was born on January 19, 1949, to the late Fred Hoggatt Sr. and Elma Lee Morgan. He passed away on May 2, 2025, at his residence.

He was a Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed NASCAR, hunting, fishing, and cooking for family on Sundays. He also loved family vacations in the mountains and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are his parents and his brothers, Fred Jr., Mike, and Ricky.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years, Emma Jane Hoggatt; children, Donna Phelps (Jerry), Melissa Ward (Guy), and Robert Lee Hoggatt Jr. (Christina).

He is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Kristin Welch (Ben), Kari Moak (Blaine), Kristen Griffis (Kyle), Jeremy Ward, Cory Ward (Allyson), Brandon Hoggatt, Andrew Hoggatt (Lexie), Dustin Barnett, Ross Barnett (Hannah), and Meagan Pritchard (Michael), along with 19 great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank the Arden Hospice, St Dominic’s Hospital, Home Health, and Dr. Ray Montalvo for their care and compassion for Mr. Hoggatt.
