Ole Brook Wind Symphony to present spring concerts

Published 12:01 pm Tuesday, April 29, 2025

Wind instruments involve the breath of the musician blown over a resonator of some type to create a variety of sounds that, properly arranged, compose entertaining music.

The Ole Brook Wind Symphony will use the instruments and skills of its members to once again offer spring concerts. These will be Tuesday, May 13, at 7 p.m. in McComb at the State Street Theater, and Thursday, May 15, at 7 p.m. in Brookhaven at Easthaven Baptist Church.

The concerts will last just over an hour and, although they are free to attend, donations are encouraged.
