The Robb Street overpass in Summit will be closed for several weeks as part of the Interstate 55 resurfacing project.

Mississippi Department of Transportation announced the closure will begin at 7 a.m. Monday, April 21, and extend until approximately 5 p.m. Thursday, July 3. The overpass will be inaccessible during this time, as it will be raised during the I-55 project.

Motorists should look plan for alternative routes — those who use Robb Street to access College Drive on the south side of Southwest Mississippi Community College are advised to use the Lawrence Street exit, 20A.
