Multiple Lincoln County volunteer fire departments are working a miles-long grass fire in Heucks Retreat.
The blaze started from the railroad, and spread along Heucks Retreat Road approximately 4 miles from Ben’s Trail to Haley Trail.
VFDs responding include Heucks Retreat, New Sight, Loyd Star, Bogue Chitto, East Lincoln and Zetus, as well as the Mississippi Forestry commission.
