BROOKHAVEN — No one was injured in a house fire early Wednesday morning. Brookhaven Fire Chief Jeff Ainsworth said the blaze is under investigation.

Engines from Brookhaven Fire Department’s three stations were dispatched to a fire on Roger’s Circle around 3:10 a.m. Wednesday. Upon arrival, firefighters found a fully-involved home.

Firefighters attacked the fire through the front and back doors of the home and entered the structure to fully extinguish the flames. After the initial attack, firefighters worked to soak down hotspots and cleared the scene around 5 a.m.

Ainsworth said the home was a rental and the tenant was not in town at the time of the fire.
