Funeral services for Mrs. Carol Ann Laird will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. An hour of visitation will also be held on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until time of services at 11:00.

Carol Ann Laird, 85, of Brookhaven, MS passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at St. Joe’s Hospice House (The Carpenter House) in Baton Rouge, LA. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 7, 1939.

She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Brookhaven, MS. She worked as a care provider in her community and church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister Shirley and brother Stanley.

She is survived by her husband, James F. Laird; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Chris Falgout and Suzanne and Neil Adler; son and daughter-in-law Christopher and Amy Laird; daughter Erin Laird; step-daughters, Loren Laird and Jeanette Martinez; grandchildren, David Furlow, Derrick Furlow, and Daniel Furlow; Georgia Kirton, Kristen Kirton, Austin Combs, Allison Laird and Christpher Laird Jr.; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers please give a donation to Ladies of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and St. Joes’s Hospice (The Carpenter House) in Baton Rouge, LA.
