“It may possibly be connected to the homicide that happened at Cloverdale Apartments yesterday,” said Detective Leslie Falvey.

At approximately 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to the Cloverdale Apartment complex in the 900 block of Williams Street after calls of shots fired.

A man, later identified as 21-year-old Deleatric Quarles, was shot and succumbed to his wounds later at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Falvey said leads are being followed in both incidents.

James Lewis Levi Jr., age 30, is being sought for the homicide and is believed to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on Levi’s whereabouts is asked to call BPD at 601-833-2424.
